When laser cladding is used to repair parts, the interaction of parameters has a significant influence on equipment performance. In order explore process and quality Ni60PTA coating, statistical relationship between (laser power, scanning speed, powder feeding rate) responses (dilution ratio, ratio layer width height, contact angle) was established by experiments using response surface method (RSM) variance analysis. The results show that power dominant factor affecting dilution ratio. However, speed greatest height angle. These experimental proposed model can predict actual data. addition, microstructure microhardness samples prepared with optimum were characterized. good without cracks, deformation, pores. zone mainly composed ? (Ni), FeNi3, M (M = Fe, Ni, Cr)23C6, M7C3, CrB. average coating about 620 HV0.2, which 3.1 times 45 steel substrate.
